Amazing example of how music is ingrained in us on a basic level. Bobby McFerrin exploits the pentatonic scale.

this might be one of the most brilliant pieces of street art i’ve ever seen.  for those of you who don’t get it, a brief explanation: the artist marcel duchamp has an incredibly famous piece called “bicycle wheel” which features its title object mounted into the seat of a stool (it looks exactly like what is pictured).
the above take off on “bicycle wheel” adds a bike chain, attached to a real life bike rack on the street.  anyone know who created this awesomeness?

Very clever. I love it.

    Look, I made a Photography!

    delgrosso:

“HDR” is the new “drop shadow”

When done correctly, it can be a subtle design enhancement.

When put in the hands of any doofus with a cheap digicam and the bundled copy of Photoshop Elements, it becomes a way for them to create over-saturated abominations and then proudly say “Look, I made a photography!”
